Thanks for your efforts - however, I just downloaded (bluecherry-zm-livecd-2.0b) and MD5 is fine, yet there is no zoneminder installed (checked /verified by synaptic package manager) and when I test the iso file (on USB thumb drive) for defects it says two files are damaged...any ideas why this may be? Also, I note that the info given suggests DL should be around 720MB, but it was actually 688.4MB - and it wouldn't boot to a desktop on my Inspiron 1545 laptop (terminal only - 'display not available' or something like that) I tried 'startx' and other things but ..no joy. Thanks, Jo
