ziwei-doushu

Ziwei Doushu is an open-source Chinese astrology chart calculation engine based on the traditional Zi Wei Dou Shu system and Ni Haixia's Tian Ji teachings. It generates birth charts using calendar calculations, star placements, and traditional astrological rules. The software includes the Four Transformations system, chart pattern recognition, and a knowledge base of classical interpretations. Birthplace coordinates and historical daylight saving adjustments support true solar time calculations. Its extensive interpretation dataset covers hundreds of thousands of chart combinations across 13 analytical dimensions. Users can explore charts through a Next.js demonstration interface and access historical reference materials. The project provides reusable algorithms and structured data for developers researching traditional Chinese divination systems.
