Zhcrypt - a graphical front end to hcrypt.exe - version 2.11, 17 September 2022

Zhcrypt is written in TCL and is is wrapped for Windows execution using
Freewrap, an open source soft written by Dennis R. LaBelle using the
zlib/libpng license, and available on Sourceforge. Zhcrypt encrypts files using
hcrypt.exe, which is part of the hcrypto set of utils available at Sourceforge
under the GPLv3 license. Hcrypto does not have a readme file, so I don't know to
whom to attribute hcrypt.exe other than Sourceforge username "hagonbcsf". I have
reached out to hagonbcsf with no success.

Zhcrypt, when launched, will check to see if hcrypt.exe resides in the working
directory, and if not, will spawn a copy.

Hcrypt.exe offers encryption using the following ciphers: AES-128, AES-192,
AES-256, Blowfish, CAST-128, CAST-256, DES, TripleDES, DESX, GOST, IDEA, KASUMI,
MARS, MISTY1, Noekeon, RC2, RC5, RC6, SAFER-SK, SEED, Serpent, Skipjack, Square,
TEA, Twofish, XTEA

Hcrypt.exe creates two files while encrypting, the encrypted file and a header
file with information that hcrypt.exe needs to refer to when deciphering.
Additionally, Zhcrypt itself creates a header file for its own use. These two
header files are combined, and all files are zipped. The result file will also
show, in the filename, which cipher was used when encrypting, although that can
be disabled. The result file itself will have the extension ".ziz" and not
".zip", I did this because we don't want other zip files showing up in the
decryption file selection dialog.

* note - Works just fine under Linux / Wine.

Have fun,

v1.0 - Forgot to release this, just cleaned it up a bit

v0.99b - Initial public offering

pre v0.9 - getting to know hcrypt.exe, there is basically no documentation on
this software.
