Cambridge Z88 Assembler Workbench Tools for "OZ" and application development
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
We have provided ready-made executable tools for Linux, Mac OS X and Windows
platforms, distributed under the terms of the GNU GPL v2 license.
The overall procedure is
1. Download appropriate software install for your platform
2. Execute the installer in a preferred location on your filing system
3. Follow the Readme, specific for each platform.
Mac OSX: Unzip Zip the archive first, then run the app installer.
Linux:
Apply executable permission on *.run files with chmod +x, then run ./xxx
Use the appropriate installer for either 32bit or 64 bit Linux.
Linux for Arm7hf:
Extract bzip2 archive, then run ./istall.sh script. It will install the
tools in $HOME/bin/xxx. PATH is auto updated for shell environment.
Windows:
Two installers are available, Windows Xp (32bit) and Windows 7 (64bit)
The Windows7 version contains 64bit programs that runs on all later versions
The installers ensures that the PATH environment variable for the 'z88card'
and 'mpm' tools is set up for new command shell sessions.
Then, you can execute the tools from anywhere on your file system, so the
compile scripts for OZ ROM and Z88 applications will work.
The AWB tools require git command line tool. Git must be installed separately
on your desktop OS. Fetch from https://git-scm.com/
