Yet Another Web Personal Video Recorder

The project consists to two parts:

A web component that allows the user to view TV listings, schedule recordings, set favorites, search the listings, and (possibly) stream live TV from an available channel. The goal is to make the web interface fully-functional to schedule recordings, but minimal in regards additional functionality.

A back end component will coordinate the use of external programs to accomplish the recording of the desired programs, re-encoding of the video dumps to cut down on storage space use, duplicate resolving, conflict resolving, downloading listings, etc.

Configuration will be stored in a plain text configuration file.

Planned architecture: python backend; Apache / sqlite / (php or python?) web interface.
