Very interesting project. The community is very active & the Java to C version is progressing quite nicely. Answering others' questions, use subversion to obtain the code. You can find the url by clicking "Subversion" on the Download page at xmlvm.org.

It is badly broken.... You can't use --target and when you use --skeleton it only pops up with "hello" in the emulator
