  • Best alternative for Picasa Picture Viewer, BUT no support for raw files.
  • Loved this!! Best Image Viewer ever for windows! Thank You very much for this. I love everything about this except for slideshow of randomly selected images, this program does randomly select images , but it when I close it and open the same images again , it keeps randomly selecting the image sequence it played before. Thanks anyway for this. { PS-Sorry for my bad English :-) }
  • Amazing just what I had been hoping for years to find!! Open source & portable!!! I just registered here to thank you, you got 5 stars. Regards Tomás
  • I've been using for years JPEGView, then I discovered Xlideit and never turned back. Excellent under every aspect, really. It's also easy to customize keys and you can now select single files from a list to be played in loop animation (not the whole dir!) after a simple request feature to the author. Amazing work and minimal footprint with an exe under 3MB.

  • The strong parts of this viewer are 1. full screen mode by default 2. built-in basic image processing.

  • hey i love this program, its almost perfect except i think this is just a bug: "setting > hotkeys > arrow keys scroll" didn't work, neither to scroll zoomed image nor to navigate. Please fix, thanks for a great project.

  • easy to use, fast
  • Xlideit is a must have app when u have to manage big collections of images. # Fast answer from developer. # Small, portable and very customisable. U get practic alot of tools to make yourself a viewer for your needs. # there are some very rare features on a single program: A working thumbnail database with configurable size for big collections + recursive folder scan for thumbnails.

  • Excellent viewer. Clean and functional design and great functionality - does exactly what it should without being over encumbered by a bunch of extra (read: useless) stuff.
  • Love it. Better than Windows Photos app. Please allow SMOOTH Zoom like the Windows Photos app. Thanks

  • Cool viewer. 5 stars! Program doesn't remember the window position and moves a little upward with every start. This should be fixed.

  • So many features in such a small image viewer. Just awesome! I have a TV+monitor setup (monitor - main screen, Windows 7) and when Xlideit Image Viewer is moved to TV to view the slideshow, pressing play button expands Viewer window on both TV+monitor. At the same time pressing play button while Viewer is on main monitor, shows slides correctly.

  • lightweight, fast and reliable free image viewer. Suggestions/feature requests: * support for JPEG-XR image format (sources are available) * support for WEBP image format (sources are available) * support for camera raw formats (sources are available - libraw or rawspeed) * support for FLIF image format (sources are available) * discussion forum here to post more feature requests

  • Fast and portable, everything I wanted from an image preview and more! If you are viewing a still-developing directory, it can jump around unexpectedly - perhaps viewer is +1'd on file order instead of name? Regardless, fantastic job on this very handy viewer.
  • Nice little viewer, which I can recommend to try. One issue for me: enabling Snap viewer in Viewer options blocks the dragging of program's window between two monitors.
  • One of the best advanced image viewer ever. Only feature missing is to set current image as Desktop Background. But since this app is still in Beta, I believe developers will add this feature very soon. Thank you for the great work.
  • Hello, this is very useful application. 5 stars for me. Furthermore, recently I used KrojamSoft PhotoViewerPro so I strongly recommend it for Windows 10 as it has great features. Thanks.
  • What a great and lightweight image viewer! But still it can be improved. Please consider the following bugs and suggestions: 1. In Window mode docked settings panel hides(cuts) buttons "OK", "Cancel", "Apply" on the bottom and Title of selected tab above settings buttons. 2. When mouse wheel is set to "Next or previous image", sometimes wheel scrolls 2-3 images at a time. 3. After selecting a folder in "Show folders (F6)" menu, have to click on image first to start scrolling through images. Better support mouse wheel, when it is over an image (without clicking). 4. After using CTRL+mouse wheel to zoom in/out the same zoom factor applies to the next/previous image, but it's better to use 100% for another image. 5. "Edit image" button should support user customizable editors (maybe a dropdown list of them), not only predefined Paint. 6. Would be great to add option "zoom of selected area", when clicking inside a selected area enlarges it to the fullscreen/full window.
  • How translate to other language?
  • While I REALLY do appreciate coders who put their stuff in the free Public domain this really doesn't hack it. No straighten tool. No clone tool. And so on. Much, much too lightweight. Use Irfanview instead and don't forget it's F12 key.
  • nice piece of software but i have 1 major request and 1 suggestion request - i want to be able to start a slide show in a window. i hate having to start a slide show in a window then have it go to full screen then having to uncheck full screen in the content menu then have it go back to my window to watch a slide show. suggestion-any way to add .scr (screensaver) file to to run in xlideit
  • Make please installer and enter the program license information.
  • Took a while for me to set it up the way I wanted it. But when I got the hang of it it wasn't that complicated. It's fast, minimalistic and supports all the formats I need.
