X2 is a new graphical text editor for UNIX and LINUX systems. It aspires to be a great looking text editor that is inspired by TextMate.

It's in it's infancy at the moment, however work continues as time allows.

Right now however X2 has all the basic features of a text editor and offers some more advanced features such and syntax highlighting, tabbed workflow and a embedded terminal.

More features are planned and will be implemented as soon as possible.
