WTF, forms?

WTF, Forms? is a CSS library for replacing awkward native form controls with cleaner, more consistent custom designs. It focuses on checkboxes, radio buttons, select menus, file inputs, and progress bars. Most controls rely entirely on HTML and CSS rather than JavaScript. Custom checkboxes and radios preserve native input behavior while replacing their visible indicators with styled elements and SVG icons. Select menus and file inputs use wrappers, pseudo-elements, and browser-specific adjustments to improve their presentation. Accessibility considerations include semantic labels and ARIA attributes for controls where appropriate. The project targets older and modern browsers, but it has been archived and is no longer maintained.
