Winux is a super secure Linux operating system that is completely inspired by Microsoft Windows, but does not require any special hardware requirements and can be installed on any device. With Winux you can maintain your workflow or games without worrying about having to relearn computing.

Installation

Burn the iso image to a 8gb or larger USB stick using Etcher in Windows, Mac or Linux. You can download Etcher from here - https://etcher.balena.io// You can burn the Winux iso to a DVD with your preferred DVD burning software. In Linux, you can use the dd command: sudo dd if=winux-11.xxx.iso of=/dev/sdy bs=4M where 'y' is the letter of your usb stick and where 'x' represents your Winux version. In linux to find out the letter of your usb stick, open a terminal and type: df -h It is usually listed as 'media' or similar.

The Winux development team is excited to announce the release of two new editions of the operating system: Winux Light, Normal and Winux FAT. The Normal version maintains the lightweight and efficient performance that users already appreciate, making it ideal for devices with more modest hardware configurations. The FAT version includes all the features of the Light edition and Normal edition, plus additional functionalities that deliver a more complete experience.
