WordPress plugin and math equations

This post is actually about two separate things, but I didn't want to start too many threads.

I searched the forums for "WordPress" and also for "math", "mathematics", "mathematical", "equations", "LaTeX", "TeX", etc. but these didn't turn up anything, which was rather surprising.

Topic #1: I wrote a small plug-in for WordPress to display bibliography information from Wikindx inside blog entries.  (A forum search did turn up a  on DokuWiki with a similar idea.)  The plug-in may be found .

Topic #2: I have a lot of physics and mathematical papers in my bibliography, and some of them have mathematical symbols or equations in their titles or abstracts.  (I'm *very* surprised that this topic seems never to have come up before on the support forums.)

The way I've dealt with this is to use the  package, which renders equations written in (La)TeX syntax.  There's a trick to escaping some special characters to get Wikindx and jsMath working together properly.  I've written about this .

    Hi again,

I'll add a link to the word press plug-in and equation usage on the wikindx site.
