Introduction
Wikidsmart is a powerful open source platform that allows you to instantly integrate any software engineering tool as well as your CRM. Connectors are available today for Confluence, JIRA, FishEye, Selenium, Salesforce.com, and others can be created as desired by your own team or by engaging with zAgile's services team. The instant integration enables ultimate interoperability, traceability, and faceted search of content across the environment.
Wikidsmart Applications consist of the Wikidsmart Confluence plugin + Wikidsmart JIRA plugin that together work to facilitate deep integration and interoperability between Confluence and JIRA for Agile Application Lifecycle Management. It provides full traceability across the product development lifecycle
With Wikidsmart Applications, you can:
	1.	Create Project Artifacts, Requirements, Test Cases, Test Suites, Project Meeting notes, etc. in Confluence using Wikidsmart Smart Templates
	2.	Automatically link these artifacts together for contextual and unified information store
	3.	Create Projects, Tasks, Components and Versions in JIRA and link them to Confluence artifacts
	4.	View Project and Task-related artifacts (created in Confluence) in corresponding Properties tabs in JIRA
	5.	Create Project Dashboards in Confluence that automatically extract real-time information from the information store
	6.	Integrate information from other tools, such as Fisheye, Jenkins, Selenium, HP Quality Center, IBM Rational Suite, etc. using connectors for these tools
Components
Wikidsmart Applications suite consists of Wikidsmart Context Server (WCS) and connectors or plugins for Atlassian's Confluence wiki and JIRA issue tracker. Additional connectors are also  available for tools such as Fisheye, Subversion, Selenium to provide a unified platform for ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) and SCM (Software Configuration Management).
With Wikidsmart 4, you can also integrate Salesforce with Confluence and JIRA, thus linking Sales and Customer Support with your product delivery cycles.
Wikidsmart Context Server components consist of the following:
	1.	zAgile Semantic Repository – which integrates and stores information from different sources
	2.	zAgile Semantic Interface Layer (zSLayer) – which provides an abstracted interface to the repository, for external applications
	3.	zAgile RPC Server (zXMLRpcServer) – which provides an XML-RPC interface to the connectors for consistent access
Via the XML-RPC server (zXMLRpcServer) and application-specific connectors, applications can interact with Wikidsmart Context Server to store and retrieve contextually integrated information independent of the source. For example, you can view JIRA tasks in Confluence, in the context of requirements linked to those tasks. Or conversely, view (or link) requirements and test cases with those tasks in JIRA. Regardless of the application or tool, you can consistently access a unified view of the environment.
