Webjar provides a REST-based interface for creating a blog or other database driven applications on the web which you get up and running in a matter of minutes, You can alternatively also easily extend the framework using java to add custom functionality. Webjar runs on the resilient Jetty web server and serves the REST api using the Jersey framework, Java's implementation of the REST-API specification.
