VST3 Bridge for AIMP is a Windows DSP plug-in that hosts a single VST3 effect inside AIMP's DSP pipeline. It is intended for users who want to run a selected VST3 processor while playing audio through AIMP, including ASIO output.
Features
- Crash-Proof VST3 Hosting – VST3 plug-ins run in a separate process, protecting AIMP from plug-in crashes.
- Realtime-Safe Playback – Audio processing never blocks AIMP's playback engine.
- Automatic Recovery & Bypass – Playback continues even if a plug-in crashes, hangs, or temporarily falls behind.
- Native VST3 Interface Support – Uses the plug-in's own editor window, including resizable interfaces.
- Session Restore – Automatically reloads the last working VST3 and its saved settings.
- ASIO Compatible – Works with AIMP's ASIO output and standard playback modes.
- Compatibility-First Design – Focused on stability, predictable behavior, and safe VST3 operation.
- Technical Features: Asynchronous shared-memory IPC, pipelined multi-buffer processing, CPU/DPC latency tolerance, float and double-precision VST3 support, isolated plug-in lifecycle management, guarded audio validation, and automatic failover handling.

This is great, thanks. Make it load all the VST3 files in the plugin folder automatically - then you do not need to go on adding files here and there. I put all my VST3 plugins into the dsp_vst3_bridge folder, if you could make it auto find them and shovv up in the VST3 menu, that vvould be helpful for my portable version here. Not sure if there is a vvay one could make this startup vvith AIMP, but for novv i guess one do need to do the clicking game to activate things. VVould have been nice if it could have been shovvn in the visualizer vvindovv or something as I have this primary VST3 plugin I am promoting. I vvill be uploading a nevv update here soon for tryout, both running the vizualizer plugin, github.com/mfcc64/youtube-musical-spectrum/discussions/30 Not sure if a 32 bit version vvould be good to have for this, if it is easy to make for you - but the 64 bit version is also fine running vvhat I primary vvanted. Although foobar is able to run any 32 bit and 64 bit VST3 even if it is only the 32 bit version of foobar. anyvvay, thanks for the plugin, and you can alvvays come by the github, link above. - Darkijah
