Vitals — Hardware Monitor with In-Game Overlay
A standalone alternative to HWiNFO for Windows 10/11. Reads CPU temperature and per-core load, GPU core/hotspot/memory temperatures and usage, RAM and per-DIMM temperatures, motherboard fan speeds and drive health — plus FPS, frametimes and 1% / 0.1% lows.
Every reading can be toggled individually for the overlay, shown as a list or a compact bar, anchored anywhere on any monitor, and switched with a global hotkey.
No companion software needed — no RivaTuner, no Afterburner. Frame timing comes from Windows ETW rather than hooking or injecting into games, so there is no anti-cheat risk. The overlay is an ordinary layered window: it works in windowed and borderless fullscreen. True exclusive fullscreen is not covered by design — and Vitals tells you so instead of leaving you hunting for it.
One self-contained installer, no prerequisites. Requires administrator rights.
