Release notes:

  • Added configurable conversion canvas sizing via --conversion-size and --conversion-fit. The new native fit mode preserves each video's native 1:1 pixels and centers smaller inputs with black padding instead of stretching them to the shared comparison size
  • Added a dynamic aspect view mode (-x dynamic / --aspect-view-mode dynamic, also available when cycling with Shift+S) which follows the reference video's per-frame display aspect ratio
  • Added automatic UI font fallback for non-Latin/CJK filenames, plus -g/--font for selecting the bundled fonts or loading a custom font file; monospaced fonts are recommended (#27, [#148])
  • Fixed video alignment when container and video stream start times differ, including after remuxing or removing audio (#151)
  • Fixed zoom centering when the displayed video is letterboxed
  • Improved Shift+X display diagnostics to include the visual pre-conversion-canvas dimensions and reference display aspect ratio
  • Improved Windows release packaging, dependency verification, and bundled license notices

The build for Windows 10 64-bit includes FFmpeg v9.0.1, SDL2 v2.32.10 and SDL2_ttf v2.24.0 DLLs.
