Vergisc Accounting Software:

Vergisc is a financial management program designed for daily business activity tracking and quick entry of accounting transactions using an integrated chart of accounts.

It is primarily an internal tracking tool to benefit its users. However, it can also be used to create documents for external parties.

It can meet a wide range of accounting needs: Businesses, associations, self-employed individuals, property managers, LEARNING about accounting, etc.

Very fast entry of accounting transactions with:

-the chart of accounts with search function.

-viewing of previously recorded transactions with multiple selection options.

Chart of Accounts

-dual coding: the user can assign a second, easy-to-remember mnemonic code to an account.

-Accounts can be modified on the fly as needed.

Account numbers are customizable and can therefore follow a chart of accounts different from the French chart of accounts.

General ledger and trial balance printing. Account reconciliation. Reading and writing external files containing accounting entries.

Chart of accounts and entries are stored in an unlimited SQLite database.

Management. The software generates an up-to-date trial balance file that can be easily transferred to a spreadsheet (which handles data linking). This spreadsheet then updates the account balances from the accounting system to the reports.

In addition to standard reports (income statement, balance sheet, etc.), an infinite number of management reports can be generated, combining accounting data with other information (forecasts, cost prices, charts, etc.).

Test

Open a terminal in the ../user-vergisc directory. The 'user-vergisc' directory contains the files to use vergisc. Enter (Linux) ./vergisc
