vCardz_i 64 bit version 3.1.1
Optimizing for screen reader NVDA and using Tab and Shift+Tab to
 move around without a mouse

To install just unzip it. The program can be run from a USB drive.

If you find a similar program that does more than this one let me know how
much they charge you...

Includes speech capability. If the card text is in the same
language as the operating system then clicking in a data field and
pressing F10 windows should speak the text. F11 and F12 speak the
complete address, F12 speaks slower.

vCardz_i supports UTF-8 and codepages therefore supports international
languages for the vCard data. The program itself and the help file
all still in English. However the vcard data may be in any language,
Chinese, Polish, Russian, Greek, etc. Label and Menu language is
selectable from a set of 8. Anyone can also add a language and share it
too.

The programs primary purpose was to DISPLAY the primary information from
VCF, XML and JSON vcard files in an easily readable and usable format on
your PC. The program handles VCF, XML and JSON contact files with one
or many cards in a single file. VCF vcard files are used in every cell phone,
the iOS contacts application, and almost every other contact application.
You can export these and use them unchanged on your computer. However this
program does much more than just DISPLAY. Create new vcards, copy cards
to a new card and edit them.

You can extract a vcf, xml,or json file from a multicard vCard file creating a
new file individually or all at once. Or append a new card to an existing
multicard file. Any card can be exported to various different output formats
as well as converted to different vcard formats.

Use Table View to see most important information from all cards in the file
in one table, and export the table to a XLSX or ODF spreadsheet, CSV or
TEXT with one row per card.

Create QR images, from vcard data, formatted for MEcard, Vcard, or
Xcard. You can also enter your own text and create a custom QR.

Exporting cards is in UTF-8 format so the export files will
show multilingual vCards in the font and language used in the vCard.
The ODF format is a nonproprietary format for creating spreadsheets with an
extension of .ods. These files can be opened by open office packages, like
LibreOffice, or proprietary office packages like Microsoft Excel 2007 or newer.

You can also import CSV card data from ANY source that creates a one line per
card comma separated file and create a new vcard file.

Example vCards are provided including ones with a Photo, a Logo, and an
audio clip. The audio clip format can be .mp3, .wav, .mp2, .ogg, .mid or
.m4a or .amr. Keep the sample rate low to keep from ballooning up the vCard file.
MP2 and OGG require your system to have programs to support the format,
like VLC. Photo and Logo supports the following formats:
.jpeg, .jpg, .gif, .png, .emf, .wmf, .tif, .ico and of course .bmp.

Improved visibility and legibility for users is provided by the ability
to change the background and foreground program colors. There is also
control over the font used to help improve readability, as well as for
other languages. Additionally the display can be resized to support
high resolution systems, or just to get larger fonts for better
visibility. Turn on 'Auto Font Size' and then use the entire screen for
maximum legibility. Customize your display colors with vCardz_i themes.

Keep checking back for bug fix updates, code improvements and new feature
implementations.

If you have a moment please provide feedback, good or bad, so the program
can be improved.

John

WINZIP to extract the files. Older versions of WINZIP do not support
filenames encoded with foreign characters and several such example
files are included.
