Zeus: Sky and weather god in Greek mythology, Zeus was a prolific breeder in myth with tales surrounding him siring many of the known olympic gods and even some heroic or demigod children from tales of old. Most notably, his children can include; Athena, Heracles, Perseus, Persephone, and many others both divine and non-divine. Zeus was an allfather and king of Olympus. He was said to give roles to other gods and even grant god-like immortality to whomsoever he deemed worthy. Zeus was seen primarily as ruling thunder and lightning with a bolt as his primary weapon. Zeus was the son of Cronus and Rhea(Titans) and was said to liberate his siblings from the belly of Cronus after he ate them to prevent them from taking his kingdom from him. Zeus is one of the most well known Greek gods as his name is a household name across the world.
