NOTUS: One of four sons of EOS in Ancient Greek Mythology. EOS was a titaness of Dawn or Sunrise and her sons represented the four winds. Notus was the south winds his brothers, Boreas, Zephyrus, and Eurus each represented another cardinal direction in which wind travelled. Notus was also associated with Summer. An epithet to this god was "The Blood of Olympus".
