In first go I had to troubleshoot the hardware and had to replace both BS170 mosfets with BC547 bjt there after programmer worked flawlessly. Excellent design...!!!

The awful decision was made to depend on wxWidgets 2.9, which has only seen development releases. This means that most distributions do not package it. Sources as early as 2009 depend on 2.9.0. There is no way to build this on a number of recent distributions without major disruptions to the system. For this gross oversight, an equally gross thumbs down.
