Update Scanner

I've been running Update Scanner for a few months now, monitoring a few sites. It works very well, "just like it says on the box". Especially useful for things like, for example, finding changes to websites that do not have search agents or RSS. For career/jobs pages Update Scanner is potentially very useful for helping one to keep up-to-date when needing to know immediately of changes in the jobs listed in the vacancies pages of specific companies.

Great product. This little add-on allows me to find changes to career pages that do not have search agents or RSS. It is indispensable for those of us searching for careers with specific companies. The only criticism I have is related to how the product functions. Many similar products store page data on their server and charge a fee to perform a comparison; albeit, they usually offer a free introductory period. My criticism is this: make it clear to us how the program works, i.e. does it store data on a server, cache, or bookmark, and the price. After reviewing the information on this site, I believe it to be free and that all data is stored in bookmarks. Otherwise, job well done! Keep up the fantastic work!
