The Manager and the game now say the same thing about the same translation, in the same words and the same colours. Game detection also finds installs it used to walk past, and the windows that froze or looped no longer do.
Detection
Bug fixes
- Games installed below a launcher were missed. The scanner looked at the folder the store names and nowhere else, so a publisher shipping a launcher beside the game left ordinary installs undetected, on Steam and on Epic alike. Folders are walked now.
- What an uninstall left behind was counted as a game. Only what the engine itself writes is accepted.
- A store entry covering several games no longer lends its id to any of them, which used to point the community lookup at a title none of them was.
Interface
New features
- Listed translations wear the same chips as in the game. Published, Branch, Up to date, Solo work, Review started, Capture only.
- A contribution is told when the Main published since its last merge, on the game's card and on the row. Taking that work in is done in the game.
- A backup says which languages it holds.
Enhancements
- A branch's card says its walls in one sentence: the Main is gone, its owner's account is gone, or contributions are closed. It used to promise a review by an owner who was no longer there.
- A button says it is working. It stayed pressable for the length of its own action, so "did that do anything?" was answered by clicking again.
- The quality key reads the same as in the game and on the website, down to the shares, which could differ by a point between two windows showing the same file.
- The list of published translations dropped a chip that said nothing: everything in that list is published, and the one in the game already says so.
Bug fixes
- A branch in step with its own published copy read "Update available" here and "Up to date" in the game. The verdict is read against the account's own row now.
- A branch's card credited the Main's downloads and the Main's source as its own.
- The Backups window froze on every restore, delete or refresh. The work ran on the window's own thread while the window was meant to be drawing.
- The Backups window looped when dragged taller, making a card vanish and then taking the window off the screen.
- The tabs stopped bouncing at the end of their travel.
- Counts were written as "1 line(s)", a form nobody says out loud.
Shared with the game and the website
- The same facts are decided in one place for the three products: what a translation is, where it stands, who may do what with it, and how a count is written. What the Manager says about a game is what that game will say when it opens.
