Publishing from the Manager now asks what the mod asks, and stops where the mod's own decisions begin. The first publication of a translation was refused for a reason that was not one, and the Publish button offered acts the site would then refuse.
Publishing
New features
- Publishing asks the source language, the description and the link in one window, as the mod does. The target is shown settled — it is what the file is — and the source is asked once, on the first publication, prefilled when the game already names it.
- The Publish button says what it will do: Upload, Update, Contribute or Fork — the mod's own words. Contributing and forking are decided in the game, so those two are greyed here with the reason and where to go.
- A first publication confirms the game with the site first, as the mod does: looked up by Steam id, searched by name otherwise, and picked from the site's answers before anything is filed under it. A game created from a folder's name was a translation nobody else could find.
Bug fixes
- A translation never published could not be published from here. The Manager refused as soon as the game had no source language set, which is the ordinary state of every translation nobody has published yet, and sent you into the game to set it. It is asked here now.
- The Publish button no longer opens a contribution on a translation whose author works alone. It offered to send, and the site refused after the upload. The same wall now shows before the click, for a Main that is gone or whose author erased their account too.
- Updating your own contribution is no longer refused when the game's settings still say "auto": the published pair is the one that counts, and the site keeps it.
- A file that states another language pair than its published lineage is refused as an update, with both pairs named and Fork as the way on — instead of being sent under a language it is not in.
- The button kept its verb after a cancelled click. It read "Publish…" after "Checking…", whatever it had said before.
- "Edit details" no longer claims that publishing asks for the description and the link. It did not; it does now.
