We present a versatile and fast MATLAB program (UmUTracker) that automatically detects and tracks particles by analyzing long video sequences acquired by either light microscopy or digital holography microscopy (DHM). Our program finds the 2D particle center position using an isosceles triangle transform and the axial position by a fast implementation of Rayleigh-Sommerfeld numerical reconstruction algorithm using a one dimensional radial intensity profile.

New Updates: Version 1.0 (2017-05-22) : Added options to activate parallel computing and gpu based functions. Beta version (2017-05-04) : An Executable file of the software is now available with improved performance. New features in the executable are: 1. GPU accelerations for all intensity reconstruction algorithms. 2. CPU parallel computing for tracking. 3. Changed functions for reading video frames, plotting results and fixed some bugs for 'background Subtraction'. The option 'Background Subtraction' is changed to 'Hologram Normalization'.
