Kisekae UltraKiss Files

UltraKiss 5.2 is now released to improve DirectKiSS compatibility. UltraKiss, when in DirectKiss compatibility mode, will now recreate DirectKiss conditions for detaching attached objects on page changes and will now interpret %x and %y tags as image offset replacements rather than offset adjustments. UltraKiss 5.1 provided a new issue report system to submit problem reports. This system does not require a GitHub login. The issue report is emailed to the developer with a copy to the originator. Submit a problem report or suggestion for improvement using the UltraKiss Help-Bug Report menu command.

UltraKiss 5.0 provided a new client/server web interface to run and develop Kisekae sets downloaded from the Internet or from your browser.

How to run UltraKiss through your browser.

UltraKiss 5.0 or later operates in both a server based installation and a standalone installation on your computer. To install UltraKiss on a server refer to the Open Issue that documents server requirements.

If you intend to run UltraKiss on your own server download the following file for installation on your server. This file contains the necessary scripts and Java files for UltraKiss.

How to install UltraKiss on your local computer.

Automated Installers (64 bit architecture). This is the recommended method for installation.

Windows Installer UltraKiss_windows-x64_5_2.exe

Linux Installer UltraKiss_unix_5_2.sh

Apple Mac OS Installer UltraKiss_macos_5_2.dmg

Click on the links to download the file to your computer. On Linux systems you may have to set the downloaded file to executable to run the installer. On Windows systems you may be prompted from the browser to run the installation file directly. On Apple systems you may have to override the security settings to install the downloaded file from an unknown developer.

Installation Verification

Start UltraKiss. Use File-Open and select FreeCell.lzh. The KiSS set should load. Use File-Close to close the set. Use File-Open and select Slots.zip. The KiSS set should load. Use File-Close to close the set. Use File-Open and select FRKISMI4.lzh. This is a sample for KISS - KISekae Set system (Paper doll playing software). Use File-Close to close the set.

Standard Installation (32 bit architecture)

32 bit installation is no longer supported. For older architectures install UltraKiss 4.2 or an earlier release.

Program Operation

Use Help-Contents to access the UltraKiss program documentation. See Help-Contents-What is UltraKiss for a brief description of the Kisekae Set system.

Use Help-Demo Sets to access the demonstration KiSS sets that are packaged with UltraKiss. Click on any of the demonstration sets to load the set in UltraKiss. To see the FKiSS code behind any KiSS set press F11 or use the View-Active Configuration menu command.

To run the Scarecrow sets from The Owl, open the UltraKiss portal with File-Open Portal and select the Scarecrow Sets.

To access the online KiSS sets available through UltraKiss, use the File-Open Portal command in UltraKiss and navigate to the KiSS Online Library.
