UEVR is a universal VR mod that adds virtual reality support to many games built with Unreal Engine 4 and 5. It injects into a running game and uses Unreal’s own stereo rendering systems to produce full stereoscopic 3D with six-degree-of-freedom headset movement. The tool supports both OpenVR and OpenXR runtimes and offers several rendering modes for balancing compatibility, visuals, and performance. It can project many in-game interfaces into 3D space and provides optional motion controls and room-scale movement in supported games. Per-game configuration, an in-game settings menu, and access to Unreal console variables help users tune problematic titles. A C++ plugin system and Blueprint support let modders extend individual games with additional VR behavior.
