    Thank you! Unity almost had me give up on Ubuntu. Can I make a simple suggestion. For those with an exisitng full-desktop install of ubuntu you could make the gnomeshell-desktop package conflict with all things unity. So users who wanted to switch would have Unity removed for them without needing to re-install or purge packages themselves.

    This is more like it, none of that default unity. thank you so much for providing a unity-free, Ubuntu based, gnome 3 distro!
