The transmart-slim-api addresses the IBM i7.2 specifications for the development of RESTful APIs, and is capable of: (i) to list all the studies deposited on one tranSMART instance; (ii) to list all the variables collected for one study; (iii) to count how many subjects have informed values for one variable; and (iv) to display the collected values for variables per subject.

Example of workflow created with the transmart-slim-api. A) The AllSourceSystem endpoint (green) invokes the API function get-AllSourceSystem and retrieves a list of sourcesystem_cd (studies, full blue box) stored on the target tranSMART system. B) Users can pick-up one of the studies (sourcesystem_cd, empty blue box) from the list and by using the endpoint ConceptDimension (green) query with the function getConceptDimension for the list of variables (concept_cd list) of the selected study. C) From the concept list, one variable (concept_cd) can be picked-up to (D) query for how many times (ConceptCounts end-point) such concept has been collected (concept_count) and also which values have been collected (ConceptValues endpoint) per subject (con-cept_values). White vertical boxes represent the queried tables to fetch the desired information.
