TrackIndex is a Windows application for organizing and playing music stored in local folders. Open a folder as a library, arrange its tracks visually, and listen from the same clear workspace.
It keeps numbered filenames and M3U or M3U8 playlists aligned with the order on screen, helping collections preserve their sequence across players and devices. Reorder one or several tracks with drag and drop, import audio, browse artwork and music details, and use playback controls for seeking, volume, shuffle, and repeat.
Undo and redo remain available throughout the session, and interrupted operations can be recovered. Removed audio is sent to the Windows Recycle Bin after the session is accepted. Everything runs locally without an account or library upload, and embedded audio tags remain untouched.
The installer includes everything needed to get started.
