Terminay v4.2.0 introduces a production-ready daemon CLI for running Terminay as a standalone server via `npx terminay daemon install`.

## Daemon CLI

### Installation and Lifecycle Management

- Published the Terminay CLI to npm, enabling installation via `npx terminay daemon install`
- Implemented atomic activation with systemd integration for reliable server deployment
- Added daemon lifecycle commands: `install`, `uninstall`, `upgrade`, and health checks
- Resolved invoking user from system passwd instead of environment variables for better security

### Archive and Version Management

- Scaffolded version resolution to fetch and verify release archives
- Implemented archive verification to ensure integrity of downloaded binaries
- Added deterministic build contract validation for release artifacts

### Pairing and Configuration

- Implemented daemon pairing workflow for secure server registration
- Added socket-based communication between CLI and daemon instances
- Supported account management and address configuration for daemon connectivity

## Release and Packaging

### Automation and Distribution

- Enhanced release workflow to publish the CLI workspace to npm alongside platform-specific artifacts
- Added smoke testing against real systemd to validate daemon installation in CI
- Pinned Linux executable naming to ensure consistent artifact identification
- Copied CLI workspace manifest into E2E image for integration testing

### Documentation

- Updated standalone server documentation with `npx terminay daemon install` as the recommended deployment method
- Added comprehensive daemon CLI specifications and design documentation

## Developer Experience

### Workspace and Build

- Renamed private root workspace to avoid naming conflicts with the published CLI
- Enhanced deterministic build checks for workspace consistency
- Improved workspace boundary validation for monorepo integrity
