This release brings performance diagnostics, improved agent provider support, and UI refinements to Terminay.
Performance Diagnostics
Performance Log Window
Added a new Performance Log window accessible from the Help menu that displays real-time runtime metrics and startup performance data. The window tracks per-terminal CPU, memory, and disk usage for local terminals, and records a startup phase timeline visible on the splash screen.
Runtime Metrics Collection
Implemented lightweight always-on metrics collection that samples performance data without significant overhead. Added a bounded performance-snapshot host action and event to the protocol for efficient data transfer.
Startup Phase Visibility
The splash screen now displays a phase line that advances as the application initializes, providing visual feedback during startup. Phase labels are rendered against the correct cascade order and remain flat under pointer interaction.
Agent Provider Improvements
Claude Code Agent
Bound the Claude Code CLI through its project journal with corrected turn lifecycle and subagent handling. Added support for resume and continue operations without requiring a session UUID on argv. Improved fault mapping and input request inference from subagent journals.
New OpenCode Agent
Added a new OpenCode agent-status provider with full conformance testing. The provider is now registered in the built-in staging contract and includes real-world store conformance tests.
Grok Agent Enhancements
Updated the Grok agent to enumerate subagents and derive halting faults from CLI output. Fixed subagent reading to match what the CLI actually writes and corrected blocked verdicts.
Provider Capability Matrix
Published a comprehensive agent provider capability matrix documenting the proven behavior of Claude Code, Codex, Grok, and OpenCode providers against real CLIs.
UI and Infrastructure
Sidebar Drag Improvements
Fixed sidebar width dragging to remain active when Chromium drops pointer capture, ensuring smooth resizing even during system events.
Extension API Enhancements
Exposed file creation time to agent providers through the extension API. Added conformance testing harness and per-provider matrix tests for validating agent provider behavior.
Linux Process Metrics
Derived Linux process start time from /proc/uptime for accurate resource tracking on Linux systems.
