Terminay v2.6.1 isolates PTY-derived state delivery to prevent subscription pressure from exhausting the shared control plane.

Activity and subscription isolation

Terminal activity coalescing

  • Reduced activity event volume by publishing only semantic transitions (status, attention, acknowledgement, authority, progress, exit) instead of one event per PTY callback
  • Inactivity deadlines remain current without consuming control queue capacity
  • Activity converges to the latest authoritative snapshot during recovery

Projection delivery fairness

  • Separated subscription event delivery into bounded, independent lanes distinct from reliable RPC control
  • Full snapshots for the same subscription and entity supersede obsolete pending state without reordering unrelated keys
  • Subscription overflow triggers scoped resynchronization instead of closing the application connection

Congestion recovery

Client state reloading

  • Clients now reload authoritative activity and agent snapshots when their subscription receives resync notifications
  • Recovery is scoped to the affected subscription, leaving workspace queries, terminal input, and other sessions uninterrupted

Connection stability

  • High-volume PTY output no longer exhausts the control queue or prevents new terminal creation
  • Workspace and terminal commands remain available while a noisy terminal recovers
  • Multiple concurrent terminals now receive fair progress across their independent delivery lanes
