Terminay v2.3.0 enables WebRTC exposure of the desktop workspace with privileged Werift runtime support and verified hosted bootstrap compatibility.

WebRTC Exposure

Privileged Desktop WebRTC

Desktop builds now expose workspaces through authenticated WebRTC with the integrity-pinned Werift runtime. The embedded local server's canonical application stream, device enrollment, reconnect challenges, and verified UI bundle are accessible through the WebRTC exposure lifecycle.

Hosted Bootstrap Compatibility

The deployed v1 hosted bootstrap runs as a privileged in-process Werift peer with authenticated room signaling, PIN validation, and access to the embedded authority's terminal sessions.

Development and Testing

Runtime Staging

The npm run dev workflow now deterministically stages and explicitly selects the approved WebRTC runtime through the stage-selected-secure-werift-runtime.mjs script.

E2E Coverage

End-to-end tests validate privileged WebRTC exposure and hosted bootstrap compatibility, including pairing, authentication, and reconnection flows against the deployed signaling environment.

Release Automation

CI Integration

The release pipeline includes new security and compatibility verification steps for the privileged WebRTC exposure path.
