This patch release fixes macOS packaging and CI workflows to ensure reliable smoke testing of packaged builds.

macOS DMG Handling

Fixed macOS smoke testing by mounting packaged DMG builds from writable copies instead of read-only sources, preventing shutdown failures during CI validation
Added stage-macos-app-from-dmg.sh script to safely extract and stage macOS applications from DMG archives for testing

Workflow Updates

Updated CI and release trigger workflows to properly handle macOS app staging during smoke tests
Enhanced portable CI test coverage with additional validation for DMG-based app extraction
