  • I had some trouble with TaskUnifier 2.0.0 on Mac OS X Lion. The app fails to open getting a Java exception: Error while creating folder "null/backup". I tried deleting the Application Support/TaskUnifier data to avoid any issues with migrating the 1.8.7 data, but that has no effect. Going back to version 1.8.7.
  • been looking for this for ages BUT it wont sync with contacts on pc so any contact added to phone when out and about doesnt show on taskunifier contact list even after sync with phone. New clients ,contacts, friends sync to the gmail contacts on the pc but dont appear in tu.
  • The best open source task planner software so far. Always improving and making it the most complete, with frequent maintenance as per suggestions and bug control updates.
  • I find this app very very good and pretty much perfect for what I need. Few improvements will be suggested in the app section which for me would make it just perfect. I definitely suggest this to people. Since I do not use the synco. it really doesn't bother me
  • Found it very comprehensive, also found lots of features to be a good Task Planner. As other users also said, by checking completed, should automatically put 100% for the progress. Toodledo sync is very useful, making it sync to andoroid.
  • Very happy with it. I ran into small bugs at first, but the author was very fast at resolving them and responding by email. Paid for the Toodledo plug-in and very happy with it.
  • Checking "Completed" should edit the progress to 100 %.
  • I tested many GTD apps. TaskuUnifier is now part of my ecosystem contains: - MS Outlook - desktop calendar and work mail manager - toodledo - task manager - gsyncit - sync application beetween Outlook and google calendar - TaskUnifier - desktop client of toodledo - DGT GTD on Android phone Every task and event are sync in my ecosystem :) I used TU on desktop and this is my key task plan application. Apps are fantstic. Simple and functionality. And progress with development (add new functions and fix) impressed me. Wait for 30 second delay in sync is less than I expected :) TU is great application, with full free functionality. $20 for no delay sync is good price.
  • The program is very usefull especially when used with toodledo
  • I really like it. This is the only task manager I found that works for me. Suggestions for features are rich text in the notes and linking to Outlook. Thanks for a great utility.
  • I love this app. I use it to keep track of my tasks at work. I love the ability to have subtasks.
  • The app is free and works fine. Some nag-delay of 30s on the Toodledo plugin is anoying, $12 for a license to remove the nag is a lot nowadays, but even then it is worth the try of at least the unregistered version. And maybe you can even live with 30s startup delay? I know for now I can!
  • Really love this App. Tried 'TaskAngel' but was too slooooow. This is much more intuitive and I like the way I can create search criteria. Have it running almost perfectly on 3 PCs. On XP machine (other two are Vista and WIn7) I occasionally get 'your 'something' is invalid, but I click on cancel and it's OK, until the next reboot. Love it. Brilliant! Cheers for your good work Steve
  • Initial impressions are good. I'm happy with the nag-ware addin for Toodledo. WIll pay if I decide to keep using
  • Several computers synced - works fine. Thanks for the great project - and regarding the criticism about a possible payment: you´re free to use the sync option, you have to wait 30 seconds per sync then, but it works (for free). SO where´s the problem?
  • I was just thinking this morning how greater use of visual cues would be useful! Delighted to see this direction in 0.9.7. Thanks.
  • Really impressing, works perfect for me. The only odd thing that came up a couple of months ago was that we 've been charged for the synch to Toodledo.... But as I know how hard a synch could be as I've written my own one for the iPhone (MyTasks) I could say: It is worth the little money you spend. This app is far better than Toodledos Web-Interface as this one is better structured and supports templates! I never run into trouble with the synchronisation. Good job!
  • This is exactly what I've been looking for for awhile! A powerful tool for syncing with Toodledo and doing task management. I can't wait to see what future versions and iterations hold.
  • Nice little UI. I'm looking forward to see more plug-ins. Currently I'm missing Drag and Drop capabilities to change a task's context, location and goal. From a GTD perspective I would like to see my projects (task that have subtasks) and some management for current and next actions in these project.
  • Just what I was looking for, I love Toodledo and now have absolutely all my devices and computers connected to it. I have a need to keep track of allot of notes as well as tasks, and I love that this now syncs with the Notebooks as well. Would also love this more if TaskUnifier allowed emailing of lists and showed lists by Tag. This would allow for easier delegation. Overall I give this a buy, and can't wait for updates. Add these features and I will donate more. Afterall 7 dollars is far cheaper than some of the other downloads I've seen, one wanted 40. And with the 7 dollar donation for the plug in you can sync 2 computers, so now I'm linked all over.
  • Having people download the software that they think is free (since it is on sourceforge), only to find that they must pay for the ability to sync, is on the verge of dishonest. Let's be honest; without the ability to sync, this software cannot stand on its own. No thanks - I'll pay the $20 for Task Angel - at least they are honest enough to let everyone know up front what the software is going to cost them.
  • Great app! Finally an open desktop multi-platform two direction sync app to keep up-to-date also on the smartphone. I hope a calendar plugin will soon arrive! Getting a thunderbird addon would also be amazing! Great job!
  • I have been looking for a toodledo desktop client for a while, and was delighted to find this one. It is cross-platform compliant as it is written in Java, so works well on my mac at home, my PC at work, and my iPad and iPhone in between. It is well designed and replicates toodledo functionality very well. No problems so far. Great work!
  • The app that I lookinf for a long time. Very good app and nice update times. Excellent!!
  • I like TaskUnifier as a (free!) PC companion to Pocket Informant for Android and to be able to exchange my task data with Toodledo. Thank you for programming this very useful tool!
