Tap, Tap is a free, open-source Android application that brings customizable back-tap gestures to devices running Android 7.0 or later. Inspired by the double-tap functionality introduced on Google Pixel devices, it allows users to trigger actions by tapping the back of their phones. The application supports both double-tap and triple-tap gestures, with more than 50 available actions. Users can launch applications, toggle the flashlight, simulate navigation buttons, execute shortcuts, and activate Tasker tasks. Configurable conditions determine when gestures work and which actions run in specific situations. Its machine learning-based recognition system offers eight device-size models and adjustable sensitivity settings. Tap, Tap also incorporates power-saving mechanisms to reduce unnecessary background activity. Compatible devices require an accelerometer and gyroscope.
