Talos

Talos is a quiet game of stones on a hex board. Each board starts with a scatter of dark stones and a single white stone in the middle. On your turn you place one dark stone on any empty space; then the white stone moves one space toward the edge. Close every route before it gets there.

A game is six boards, each starting with fewer stones than the last. The fewer stones you need to finish a board, the more points it is worth. Three escapes ends the game early. Nothing is timed. No ads, no accounts, no engagement tricks.

The whole game is a single HTML file plus audio, released CC0 into the public domain. It runs in any modern browser, works offline, and installs to the home screen as a web app. Play it at https://danger.academy/Talos/ or download the zip and open index.html.
