The script accepts a number of parameters as indicated below


adjustSubtitle.pl [-h] [-?] -m <filename> [-r] [-a | -c | -C | -e] [-v[v]] [-M <directory>] [-S <filename>] [-H <number>]  [-I <time> -i <duration secs>]
      where  a - Perform all processes [same as -ecC ]- this is the default
             e - extract subtitles from mkv file
             c - correct subtitle timing in extracted file
             C - adjust subtitle timing based on avidemux log (to take into account any editting)
             v - set debug level
             r - temporary subtitle files will be retainedset
             h - print out help
             m - MKV file name
             M - mkv tools directory [defaults to c:progra~1MNVToolNix]
             S - subtitle file name [defaults to the mkv file name with a srt suffix]
             H - maximum time a subtitle will stay on the screen in seconds [defaults to 10 secs]
             I - subtitle time to start adjusting from
             i - amount of time to adjust subtitles from (secs)

       NOTE: If options I or i are set then options e, c and C will be ignored
             Options I and i have precedence over a, e, c and C


To get it running install a perl interpreter and copy the 2 files (adjustSubtitles.pl and commonFunctions.pl) to the same directory.

If you have associated .pl with your perl interpreter then you should be able to call it simply as:

     adjustSubtitle.pl -m test.mkv 

This would extract the subtitle from the file, and adjust any timings if necessary
