	Sticky Royale is a sticky note program written in Java.  Sticky Royale allows 
	users to create an unlimited amount of sticky notes for their desktop to help 
	users with remembering tasks that must be done during their day, week or month.  

	•	Create multiple notes
	•	New notes center on screen
	•	Drag notes anywhere on the screen
	•	Existing notes appear where you last left them
	•	Notes are saved automatically
	•	Delete notes safely, one at a time
	•	Close all notes at once
	•	Add a note title that describes the list you are making

	PLATFORM VERIFICATION

	Sticky Royale is written in Java for platform independence.  Sticky Royale is
	confirmed to work on the following operating systems:

	•	Windows 7
	•	Windows Vista
	•	Windows XP
	•	MAC OS 10.6.6
	
	If you are using Sticky Royale on an operating system different than the above, 
	please send me an e-mail and I will add that platform to the above list.

	INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

	Sticky Royale is easy to install.  Please follow these steps:
	
	1)  	Go to http://sourceforge.net/projects/stickyroyale/
	2)	Click on the green “Download” button.
	3)	Uncompress the files in the directory to which you would like them 
		installed, then open the jar file (StickyRoyale.jar) by 
		double-clicking.
	4) 	Create a shortcut by right-clicking the StickyRoyale.jar file and select
		the "Create Shortcut" menu option.
	5)	Cut and paste the shortcut to your desktop (Please see the following
		"Adding Sticky Royale to Windows Startup" section if you would like
		Sticky Royale to begin automatically when Windows boots.

	ADDING STICKY ROYALE TO WINDOWS STARTUP

	Sticky Royale is easy to install.  Please follow these steps:
	
	1)  	If you have not already done so, please create a shortcut by following
		step number 4 above (Installation Instructions).
	2)	Next, cut and paste the shortcut into your windows startup path.  
		Find this path by following this process:

		a)  	Click “Start”
		b)	Right-click on “All Programs”
		c)	Select “Open All Users” from the menu selections
		d)	Click on “Programs”
		e)	Click on “Startup”

		Note: In Windows 7 this path is usually:  
		C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup


	3)	Paste the shortcut
	4)	Test this by rebooting your computer. 

	Note: You should see Sticky Royale begin by placing a note on your desktop.  
	You should also see an icon along the taskbar.
