Allows a stenographer-user to enter text and it outputs Gregg Shorthand. This little application is more of a project of love than anything else. The vocabulary is updated frequently, two or three times per week.
*Note: The app is currently being re-written. Update 10/23/2023
Features
- Automatic Gregg Shorthand displayed
- Entries can be saved out to a text file.
- On opening the text file, the application reads the text and converts it to Gregg Shorthand.
- You can see the text and the Shorthand at the same time.
- Built in dictionary contains 1,449 words (so far).
- Custom Dictionary allows user to add their own custom symbols and words to the Dictionary folder.
- A new feature allows user to Find whether a word exists in the Dictionary.
- To do: Add support for saving Steno document in Microsoft Word.
- In Progress: Re-writing the app to do direct drawing for the word instead of maintaining dictionary.
