SQLeo is a professional lightweight SQL Query tool that permits to create or display complex sql queries (from OBIEE, Microstrategy, SSRS, Cognos, Hyperion, Pentaho ...) and permits to reverse engineer database models as db designers do.
This SQL GUI supports all JDBC drivers: Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL, Firebird, HSQLDB, H2, PostgreSQL, CsvJdbc, SQLite, UCanAccess, MonetDB ... (but MySQL jdbc and CsvJdbc are the only driver included in the package)

Anyone writing SQL queries by hand will appreciate the UI of this program. It takes a bit of getting used to, but 20 minutes should see you working efficiently. The power is to be able to write simple, but large queries by using a click'n'point interface, similar to MS-Access, removing the the tedium of getting the syntax correct and spelling errors. Support for a lot of backends completes what is a very useful utility. Oh, and it's standalone java, so it runs on any platform! What's not to like?

Really easy to use. You can achieve good results with SQLeo also. And last but not least - SQLeo is multi platform tool. SQLeo is great and well made. Thank you.

This is the only small footprint visual query builder that 1. actually works as advertised 2. does everything you'll need 3. doesn't cost an arm and a leg 4. doesn't have kitchen sink feature bloat and 4. is well supported. My only criticism is that it is not better known and more widely used. It should be.
