GET START WITH SYMPOSIUMPLANNER 2011

This file describes the basics of how to start with SymposiumPlanner 2011 (SP-2011). 



WHAT IS IT?
===========

  SymposiumPlanner 2011 is the latest in a series of Rule Responder instantiations for 
  the Questions&Answers sections of the official websites of the RuleML Symposia. 
  SymposiumPlanner supports committee members via personal agents based on 
  member-encoded rule knowledge and invoked by an organizational agent which selects 
  them using a responsibility assignment matrix.


SYSTEM REQUIREMENT
==================

  JDK:
    1.5 or above.
    
  Apache Tomcat:
  
    5.5 or above.
    
  Operating System:
    Tested on Windows XP, 7 and Linux.
    
INSTALLATION SYMPOSIUMPLANNER 2011
==================================

  The source code of SYMPOSIUMPLANNER 2011 is managed by Subversion of SourceForge, 
  the repository of the project can be checked out through SVN with the 
  following instruction set:

  svn co https://sps2011.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/sps2011 sps2011

  Besides, two distributions which need a bit configuration are provided.  



USER CLIENT OF SYMPOSIUMPLANNER 2011
====================================

   The client facilitates users to issue queries to SYMPOSIUMPLANNER 2011 in two ways: using 
   controlled English or selecting query templates.
   
   For intallation, unzip the archive of the client (https://sourceforge.net/projects/sps2011/
   files/SymposiumPlanner2011Client.war/download) to %TOMCAT_HOME%/webapps and 
   make sure the address of SYMPOSIUMPLANNDER server is correct.
   
   For development, unzip the sourcecode of the client (http://sourceforge.net/projects/
   sps2011/files/User_Client%20%28Source%20Distribution%29.zip/download) and import it 
   into Eclipse IDE for Java EE Developers or MyEclipse as a Web Project.
   
   

OOJREW AGENT TEST TOOL
=====================

   Please note that this is just an informal test tool to OOjREW Agent. With this tool, 
   users don't need to start Mule server to test OOjREW Agent. This tool just acts as a 
   query sender, and will not get the response. Users have to check the logs of OOjREW Agents 
   to find whether it runs normally or not. 

   Please deploy it to your web application server and access it with the "Internet Explore" 
   browser (It currently doesn't work with Firefox now). 
   You will get the execution log of OOjDREW agent under the directory "%TOMCAT/logs/stdout_XXX.log%".
