I'll get to the crux of things, Soplos is good, however, the installer is kind of broken. If you do not connect to the internet and proceed to install Soplos at 70% the whole install process will bail out with error code 100.. all because you didn't connect to the internet for the install, no prompt to say you need to connect, nor does the installer say as such at the start just that you aren't connected to the internet.. which should not matter in the slightest when merely installing an OS. Are you intentionally trying to replicate the forced internet connection of Windows 11 merely to install an OS? This means you have to run through the entire install process again.. BUT WAIT! There's more! Because the installer failed when you launch the installer again all disk partitioning options disappear except to do it manually meaning if you want those other options you'll have to reboot the entire system and wait for everything to load up again. These issues seriously mire what would otherwise be a solid candidate to put forward as a genuine Windows replacement. Like Windows however, Soplos is fat, requiring 35-50GB of storage space for the Plasma edition, compared to say, PikaOS, thats quite an uptick in space requirements with PikaOS using about 26GB, sizeable, but manageable.
