Why a respin?
The original 26.06 media shipped a Tuner whose Turbo/Crazy presets pointed the GPU at 2230 MHz @ 1000 mV — an undervolted combination that can hard-freeze the board. The new media are safe out of the box and add the protections and features released since.
What's new on the media
- Safe tuning defaults: GPU presets capped at the validated 2200 MHz @ 1000 mV with a smooth multi-point voltage curve; safe Stock CPU profile (3500 MHz) shipped by default.
- skillfish-base: SP5100 hardware watchdog (the board reboots itself on a hard hang) + a boot-time freeze detector that warns you if your overclock/undervolt profile looks unstable.
- skillfish-console: a SteamOS-style "SkillFishOS Console (Big Picture)" session on the login screen.
- SkillFishOS Tuner 26.06.8: 🎰 find-my-max wizards for CPU and GPU (stepped benchmark-and-rollback), a "My silicon" status panel, and anonymous silicon-lottery community reports.
- SkillFishOS Hub 26.06.9 (Discover-style software centre, APT+Flatpak+Snap), Monitor 26.06.5 (benchmark REC to CSV), Kernel Manager 26.06.1, AI 26.06.4.
