SkillFishOS 26.06 "Aetherium" is our first release: a steampunk gaming Linux distribution for the AMD BC-250 a cheap, salvaged mining board with a console-class Zen 2 + RDNA 2 APU (16 GB GDDR6), based on Debian sid and KDE Plasma 6.

Under the hood: a custom linux-tkg 7.0.10 kernel with the 40 Compute Unit unlock (+85% FP32, 11,385 vs 6,141 GFLOPS measured), an SMU governor driving CPU/GPU overclock and undervolt with four Tuner presets (up to 4.0 GHz CPU and 2230 MHz GPU) under an 85 C thermal-guard, a full steampunk KDE Plasma 6 desktop with a live HUD, Btrfs snapshots with one-click rollback, the Steam / EmuDeck / ES-DE / Heroic gaming stack, and on-device Vulkan AI (Ollama + OpenWebUI).... read more
