Windows:
If in doubt use the windows installer.

Linux:
Provided here is the Linux 32 bit built, which may clash with some libaries and some distributions. You are probably better compiling it manually if you are able to do this.

MAC OS:
The recommended default download is the SDL2 version. You may need to install the SDL2 framework. Use of the SDL version is only needed for PowerPC MAC OS.
