A lot of Document Management Systems are available these days. We are not trying to develop yet another DMS. We are looking for a very simple system that fills the gap between a plain file system and a DMS. The goal of this project is to develop a very simple Document Archive System (DAS) that offers these functionalities: - Store digitalized (scanned) documents in PDF format - Attach an document expiry date per repository (directory) or sub-repository - Automatically delete expired documents - Provide simple interface to download documents - Provide security based on LDAP (Active Directory)
