siglent_explorer Files

To run, download and unzip into an accessible folder and execute
'siglent explorer.py' to run.
To uninstall, just delete the folder.
The '99-Siglent SDS 1102CML+.rules' file needs to be installed in
'\etc\udev\rules.d' folder to give USB read write access. This needs to be done
using sudo as the folder is owned by the root.
The SANU? command shows 8,000 samples, but if an attempt is made to download
that many bytes, the scope will freeze.
The number of bytes to download is set by the waveform setup, WFSU, command.
WFSU NP,5500 is the required setup.
C1:WF? DAT2 will download the data from channel one after the WFSU command has
been executed.
Refer to the scope programming manual for other commands and queries.
To send a command to the scope, type the command into the 'Command' entry box
and click on the 'Send command' button or just hit enter.
To query a value, send the query command as above and then click on the
'Request response' button to get the response.
This program is intended mainly to explore interaction with scope and as the
basis for future projects.
The Siglent is a very nice scope to work with and very cost effective.
The interface is standard USBTMC so it should be possible to connect to other
instruments using this program.
