    Thank you for this amazing library. Now I'm not limited to only accepting .zip files in my app :) P.S. What's with the ignorant comments? Any Java developer would see the merit in using this library over the wrapped version.

    Very nice work! Works perfectly and opened up lots of new possibilities for my project. :) PS: The comments below are plain stupid. 7zip supports pretty much any archive format (multi-volume .rar, .iso, etc), not just 7z.

    Why would anybody use a Java interface to 7-zip instead of p7zip (Java version)?

    I don't see the point of a wrapper for a native implementation when a pure Java implementation would be more useful. Kudos for the effort though.
